Yes, single letter 'c' in 10d and there's an extra word in the clue.

42a Have the answer but can't see the parsing.

42 is a bit wordy - one letter is taking over (replacing) the far side (last letter) of the synonym for 'bed'.

Grid complete but still puzzled by finding some of the jumbled thematics. I know the extra letters I'm looking for and roughly where they are eg 32d has a spare word I think but I can't 'unjumble' it to anything sensible, similarly the letter after and the 3rd letter of the first word. I know I don't need to solve this but I'd like to before getting on to the end game.
