Be prepared, this is an absolute beast of a crossword - at least it was for me. I got there in the end but seriously, it was not easy!

Well, struggled through that without enjoying it too much. Paul used to be my favourite setter once the great Monkey Puzzler passed away but, I don't know, these last 18 months or so, I just can't seem to get on his wavelength. Anyway, all done but can't parse 13a so maybe some enlightenment please? Thanks.
