Jertax, thanks. I don't normally do 'Everyman', but I'd finished my usual puzzles so had a look!

It could be that the constant rain has addled my brain but I cannot see the definition in this one.

1a Forgiveness asked for in sheds, men hiding awkwardly (4-10)

Obvious enough, but?

I suppose the quality defined indicates a lack of desire for revenge?

Mamya, I think all there is is the first three words in the clue - but it doesn't work properly for me! I think the definitions in some recent Everyman puzzles have been … less than perfect. Many of them wouldn't get into some of the other paapers. I also think that this slightly themed element - two long answers - is proving restrictive at times.

Can’t see how to parse 18d. Seems like it should be an anagram but isn’t. Not that I can see.

It's a subtractive anagram - lose the last letter

I have tried to make the answer fit the supposed definition given in 1 across ,but it doesn't work for me.

Well, it's an anagram so unlikely - the answer I have is more to do with righteous respectability than forgiveness.
