Is 62 a follow-on to 61 which is "This officer could nab an eastern European"? I have an answer beginning with S and ending T and it's a police rank.

I don't know which answer you are quoting the letters for but neither begin nor end S......T. Not really a follow on although both refer to the police.

Thank you lady bee.
Got 69 .Does 62 star with C and end with T please?
Also quocungue gave me an excellent clue for 47 - but not sure how to apply 'charade' to the question.

Quocunque - that's the word I've rejected as not being close enough to the Chambers definition of "pursue".

62 - No. Are you a gardener? If so the second part of the clue will mean something to you? Otherwise, concentrate on 'head feline'.

I don't understand the reference to charade for 47. The Peter refers to a well-known book/film character and then add the other bits of the clue. You've probably not heard of the word but Chambers can explain the last part.
