Apologies if my use of the word charade misled people. I merely meant separating the clue into components, each of which gives a syllable of the solution, which is what I thought a charade did.

93 - definition is first word.

Back again Lady Bee!!
Re 62 To plant bulbs I use a tool beginning with D and ending with R.
I can't find any connection to "the long arm of the law" or to "head feline's nemesis".
Re 61 Is the officer from another country?

Apologies for being a "little dense" about these 2 clues!!

If you look up your tool, you'll probably see other versions of it.
TV programme - with what a feline is and it's enemy. I don't know what else to say apart from the answer!

Thank you Lady Bee. I got the answer to 62 just before receiving your extra clues. My friend who also does the quiz latched on to it when I gave her your clue.
61 She has asked me if the eastern European is just "ee" at the end of the word.

Not 'ee' - it's a proper countryman e.g. Swede, Italian, Bulgarian but from Eastern Europe.
