As ladybee says "seconds" is the clue.

Anagram (bananas) giving a word I bet no one has ever heard of and to which I look forward to an opportunity of using.

Two more I have answers for but am not completely happy with:

60. Hearing held in the foyer of a hotel. (4)

85. Crafty inmate whose name suggests that he could make the feathers fly. (8)

60 I think is a not very convincing containment clue.
Another archaism.
85 refers to an old tv series and a craftsman involved with feathered missiles.
I'm still looking for 98.
Does anyone have a plausible answer?
