Prospero - the extra letter in the wordplay is the fourth of the search engine and is missed out. Several means three in this case.

Congratulations for finishing, Prospero and Jazdia (and probably many others), but I am floundering. I have 3/4 penciled in, but have no idea where to go next. I can see how 1a and 1d are related, but no others.
Please, someone, give me a push in the right direction...

I think you need to be more specific, nikki: for instance, have you discovered how the first six are related?

Sorry about the long delay, Prospero, if you are still here, but I'm back on the job now. I have no idea how the first six are related (though I thought I had almost 'figured' it out), or the second six. I have just spent half an hour wrangling over the nemesis of rabbits, and almost at the point of giving up.

Is the indication that there are 8 letters in 24a a mistake?

Yes Nikki, rabbits can only be caught in these when it's dark
