jadzia - I'm pretty sure 19 ends in I - it's not a French protectorate. That would give ?E?I?I?G, which would be a companion for 7 ... but I can't see 20 at all.
Well I now think 20 is the companion for 6, and it's a word for taking on (staff) minus a letter for ringleader and a letter for union. Let me know if this makes sense ...
