Hi DG. Well done for winning, eventually,Did RT ever respond to your e-mails? They cant be at all organised as they only issue a few prizes per month!

Hello everyone

As usual I am stuck!! Especially 1D and 13D.

Flipper2law. I too was sidetracked by the `ridings` of Yorkshire which I think was there just to mislead!! These items are all over the countryside.

By the way I hope the residents of Cheshire saw the TV programme countryfile which seemed to give an explanation for the famous hosepipe ban now in force there.

Hi Karen,
Re Prizes. I think the crossword people were a completely different organisation to the people who actually send the prizes. Once they'd missed the first attempt it seemed hard for the crossword people to get it reinstated for another attempt. They were ok with replying to the emails - its just they don't always deliver.

I am beginning to wonder if it is worth while sending in completed Crosswords. With 2 winners in our group already (Karen and DC Gremlin) it is hardly likely that there will be another. Most of the satisfaction comes from completing it anyway. This I have failed to do for 7A and, like so many others, 6D. Any help appreciated.
