Hi Roof, like Malone I haven't done this crossword but 27a looks like..

A four letter word for 'trip' as in 'accidental fall' folloed by the usual three letter word for 'boy' - the definition is 'Don's' as in 'wears'.

In what sense is 26.4 a 13dn, chrise, and where is there any indication in the clue that it is one? To me it seems like a straightforward anagram of "earlyrooma" giving an obscure Scottish folk song.

The term at 13 down originated from it - a mishearing of the final line of 26, 4
