It’s a misheard Jimi Hendrix song lyric.

2d et cetera only 2 crossers are different from the lyric Hendrix sang. It's not the title.
They have slayd the 26a 4a and the 6d 13d (misheard)

Strictly speaking the first word isn't what Hendrix sang, either originally or in the misheard version (which apparently he was delighted with and occasionally sang on purpose!)

prospero... my wife and I created a comic strip about Gladly; an ursine Franciscan monk with a habit of solving crimes (see William of Baskerville). Inevitably he had a feline sidekick called Magnificat. Loved today's Philistine.

I saw him sing this in 1967 although I couldn't say which version of the lyric he sang.

Well I'm struggling. I'd decided it was all about popular music, but that is no help to me as I'm not really into rock music and don't know many lyrics. Is 10ac Rock Stars or rock music?
