I agree that some of the parsing is a bit strange.

there are now 3 threads on this one crossword - obviously I've been following the wrong one. Think I got everything parsed whiole solving but it was certainly a tough solve ... I didn't have a problem parsing 24 - it is an &lit but with the word host serving a double role.

Hi Prospero, I asked this exact question earlier and Mamya confirmed it is an &Lit.

Whilst I see what you mean about &lit, for parsing purposes the particles are in the wrong order.

Prospero, perhaps you could explain how you parsed 24 ac. As I've said elsewhere all te particles are there but they're in the wrong order.
