I quite liked 'peeps' mullingar.

The king (36) is misspelt in my 10th edition Bradfords. A C rather than an E for the second letter. Set me off track for a while.

Completed the grid, and I agree it's a delightful puzzle. The life of the 10 letter person sounds extraordinary!

Can someone explain the wordplay for 17d please.

17d - 'Journey' is an extra word - nearly for 'near' would have been more helpful.

Thank you; explaining 'near' and 'nearly' makes sense of the wordplay now. It's strange how the simplest of clues can baffle one! Must be old age.....

Hello all. I'm slightly slower than you all but have now completed the grid at last, have the long name, but now have ground to a halt as I can only spot 7 of the 10 omissions. I have those from 12,17,26,32,4,24 and 27 respectively. Could anyone confirm these are correct and let me know where the other 3 are hidden, please? Many thanks!

Piffleworthy, my copy has lots of scribbles, but it looks as if the others are at 1, 23 and 28 (all Down). It also looks as if your others are correct.

Having complete grid and found the titles, I understand how I think I should enter the incomplete titles but am totally unable to find a suitable place so that all the criteria are met.
