Also a ‘poetess’ in the Guardian today...

the guardian one would have been very much harder as "poet", though!

Thanks - I dont like it either. I dont really get it - what are the "s"s? I think it might be spellress. I was looking for a 7 letter -ess word.

I did like it because it was one of my PDMs that made me chuckle.

Thanks - I am obviously missing something as I cant see the significance of the "s"s in the clue. Nice female clue in the Times today.
