We don't get the dreaded 'r' disease in Scotland - but I have to suffer it occasionally in crosswords (in 'sounds like' clues which don't work for us). A current annoyance is the spreading of 'could of', 'should of' (instead of 'have') etc - lazy and wrong!
I'm listening to a young girl being interviewed on the TV.
She includes the word 'like' in virtually every sentence.
I don't understand why so many of them do it, like!
