Nice to hear from you. Do you know any men who actually do any ironing?

Paul

Yes I agree. It is an evening for parents not of parents.

Hi Grunger

Men can iron if we have to - personally I`d sooner do outside chores - if I have a choice!

Cricket fixtures are out - just hope we not in Tier 10 when the season starts. Yorks are away to Glamorgan in May, I love Cardiff but have never been to Sophia Gdns so ... fingers crossed. We play Lancs at Scarbados in July and are expecting big crowds to turn up, having been starved of cricket - I wondered if you might be tempted to try the Scarborough Fare?

Thanks. I saw they were in the Times so I pulled the page out but not looked at it yet. I have been to Sophia Gdns but on a non-match day. Just a stadium rather than a County Ground to me.

I think May might be optimistic, but probably July Ok - doubt if they will allow a full house.

Recent events are not cause to be optimistic I agree - let`s hope the vaccine proves effective. I normally travel by train and bus so things have to change a lot before `oldies` like me are confident to use them!

After my ill-fated attempts to get a bus, I go everywhere by car now, which is probably good with the current situation.

I am looking forward to seeing Worcs at Derby and Notts, grounds I like, and hoping spectators will be allowed. I cant apply for tickets for Everton as I live outside the city limits.

I liked the Nice clue but also did not know it could mean careless, ironically. Never heard it used it that sense, and not sure how it could be.

Pleased to hear from you - I have a car but stay local nowadays, even more so under lockdown.

Trent Bridge is one of my favourite Cricket grounds, I`ve been to Derby,
can`t miss the magic roundabout! ... I think Taunton is lovely and I intend to get to Worcester one day!

Thanks. Do you mean you broke the world record or your own?

Best wishes to all

An acceptable cleaner in the Times yesterday, but an IT today. I was pleased that one of our favourite words, youse, appeared on Sunday.

Yes, I thought of PU members when I saw 'It' today. I think there were at least two other instances of It in my weekend crosswords. I tried to blot them out.

Yes, it was lovely to see 'youse'. I liked that!
