some clues have a misprint in the defn.
Crossers may not help as some answers have to be changed on entry...

35 I got it from crossing letters - it's Walter's Scott's word for 'sun-dried clay'. I can't think of a hint... your bathroom may be this.

28 The usual abbreviation for 'arriving' plus the usual 'limited' of 'signal'. Disrupted = anagram. There's a misprint in this one.

Help with the middle letter too please.....i am missing some letters of the quote which doesn't help .. i have E P W S M U O E

Without the quote i have managed to modify some answers...

32 The misprint is in the first word - it took me a while to spot that! A four-letter word for 'mere' get shortened (cut off, you've got much of it) +Radio transmitter ( meaning I hadn't known).

In the letters, your W is wrong. There's a letter between your O and E, giving the last word.

i posted str away that i had the scorer but it disappeared!

How does 27d work ? Bright woman involved in ministerial cover up. My crossers would give ?clair ... can see OCLAIR reversed in the clue but can't find a defn for it...???

My 27 isn't Oclair - but something very similar! If you had a different first letter...I assumed the first letter wasn't in that position originally.

Just the middle letter now ....??
