I seem to have completed this except for 5D and 11A, one of which must contain a clash. Could anyone help please.

Morning Tony - can confirm 5dn and 11ac contain clash. 5dn is unaffected so that gives you first letter of thematic critter. Not sure how much of a pointer you wanted so if you need more just ask.

Apologies Tony, I've misled you inadvertently (caused largely by working from a doc not containing clue numbers as am in remote Scottish wilderness!).

5dn clashes with 17ac. 5dn is entered as is and def is abbreviated noun for activity representing acting for pleasure.
11ac clashes with 4dn. 4dn is entered as is and def is noun for fostering environment.

If you need a further push just ask. Sorry again for earlier slip-up.

Probably should have confirmed clashes too - 4d/11a gives E, 5d/17a gives R
