Grid complete, got all the surnames but can’t link Keith nor Gary to their clues. I’m thinking 28 and 9? but can’t see why.

An aside: this made me remember a Keith episode on a small boat on a rough sea. By the end he was a bit rough too (as usual). Boat swayed one way, he swayed the other and feeling sea sick on the sofa was a distinct possibility.

Teenieleek, I read these elsewhere...

Keith from Queeney's husband - 9 A (someone nicknamed Queeney was married to Viscount Keith).

Gary from 3 D, 'fishy' - gar-y.

You are right about 9ac. “Queeney’s husband” was Admiral Lord Keith. She was Queeney Thrale, 19th literary figure.
“Gary” is from 3dn, “fishy, perhaps”, a gar being a pike-like fish

I wonder, since we are talking about an over-large team, you get Hollywood from Hoillywood because there's no "i" in team!
