Hi, Ginge. Having seen all the kind advice from our fellow forum companions, I've had a thought. What if you could get mead made from local honey? For medical purposes, you could get it free on prescription, this being Scotland. Get Kenny to install a tap in the Staging Post.

Seriously, I hope you find a solution soon. I've had mild bouts but know a few people whose lives are made an absolute misery by it.

Hi folks, I'm just back from the doc and hopefully I'll be feeling a lot better when the new meds kick in. Thanks for all your kind words and unfortunately I've tried honey many times and it has no effect.
I can only imagine, but yesterday felt like a bad "trip" all day plus the debilitating effect of the allergy. If I could I'd be willing to take the risk of future osteonecrosis as the kenalog injection was extremely effective even if sitting was a tad uncomfortable for a day.
I'll definitely post the result early afternoon.
