Completed everything apart from radials 3, 4, 6, 7, 10 and 38. I'd normally soldier on but I'm away for most of this week so would like to put it to bed tonight if possible. So, nudges (not answers please) to any/all of those would be most welcome. Thanks.

I also can't parse the 2nd and 3rd letters of the 6 letter entry for 33.

3 is hidden
4 - def is in last three words
6 is anag, but note that the full phrase has 9 letters
7 - def is the first four words
10 is a longer version of a common word
33 - look up log in Bradford
37 was the last-but-one I solved: how would you 'make [someone, or a culture] SW Asian'?

As hardly anyone else has asked for hints I assume I'm not giving anything away. But what IS 14? I have N-UELA running in the required direction, and the 'short passage' has been given away here, but I can't think of the common word for road that apparently completes it. Have I got letters wrong?

ionacarr - 14 radial begins with the L. One of the most devious clues that I have encountered.
