Has anyone managed to print this puzzle out successfully? It goes over two pages and my attempts leave out some of the clues.

I read the instructions and decided not to bother. I don't like puzzles where you have to muck about with the answers before writing them in.

I dislike this sort of puzzle too and with visitors arriving soon won't bother.

I've had problems too. Ended up nipping to the newsagent!

Totally agree with you ChrisE. I hate these formats.

For anyone who is doing it, I'm making slow progress but surprised by 21a...... I have answers to both left and right hand grids which satisfy the clue(s) but seem to have 2 unused words in the middle of the clue. Thoughts but no spoilers please.

My friend has just printed off Araucaria from xmas 2002 and given me a copy. Will stick with that!

i have used all the words ..?
1st part ends with ...for Rita ...defn is Rita.... this is the clue that needs the extra letter
2nd part starts ...during and is a hidden

...although there seems to be 2 defns for the first bit....defn could be mouths or defn could be Rita
