Thank you quizmad. Have got 92 & 93 but
49 still eludes me. I've read thru' the site about Scottish dialects.
Have found a music band where the word means border and has The in front of it. No Scottish connection but one to England/Ireland and Wales!!!!!
Am I clutching at straws??

Google scots tongue and work your way down the list it is nothing to do with a music band ,concentrate on the first word of the clue when looking at the list of words .

Gotcha. Starts with g and often goes with another word starting with a. Thanks - talk of getting off the beaten track!!

Only no. 46 to do but no-one else seems to have problem with this - any small clue welcomed.
