Good point about the L, lumen. I have seen "reverse" to indicate a change of direction in down clues before, though (but I've never liked it!)

I have tried putting in the ones I have but it simply isn't working. Can anyone give me a strong hint for F and T to see if I have placed things correctly?

Many thanks ChrisE. I've solved F now and corrected a mistake. I'll plod on !

'Two clues indicate' I think this means the two clues that end in Q because they can only go in the top left corner, two 4 letter words ending in Q have to go in what would be 2 down and 9 across, or that's how I started.

Can anyone help with R? I have all the rest I think except the second I. Please help if you can.
