My knowledge of this theme is sparse.

I am still looking for theme words for B, C, D, F,I< R and the second M.

I there a Wiki page where I can find them?

That's what I've got, sunray, but I've never heard the expression, and Google (again) is not helpful.

Hi again sunray
I was lucky and knew them all

B were our representatives for Eurovision once
C were a "super" trio
D is an anagram
F were from the 60s
I is clever - it's much shorter than it sounds
R were also from the 60s

Hi guys,
I've really enjoyed this one. I have two left:

the first J which should be themed JE-S-- -
Genealogical tree [?] about me as a subject [=I, presumably] with broad-nibbed pen [?] (6,1)

and

the second V which should be straight V--Y -E-T
Tidy light bovine (4,4)

... unless, of course, I've gone completely wrong.

I'm a bit puzzled by a couple of clues:
In the first B (straight, though the miser could be themed), is the miser really a miser? I don't know the book well. I know him for another character fault.

Of the Ws, the first answer looks themed and well known but there's a definition, so it must be straight; I still can't parse the 2nd W but I have an answer which seems to be an obscure themed answer.

Actually that's not true - I needed younger generation help for J, and I've not been able to track down my answer for X.

My X answer appears in google - put answer in search box, then click on search box and the first suggestion gets there.

Yes, I needed help with J. The tree is biblical.

V isn't difficult if you pick the right bovine.

The first W is thematic - the king is Latin.

I agree about B - see my earlier post.

"The ancient Greek concept of hospitality"?

I did find a candidate further down the list though - totally unknown to me.
