kirky

I think there's a typo in your last message.

'X' is an anagram of 'taxi in.'

After imagining a word for the B, I have the Ls left. I have L?O?,L?A?

Have I gone hopelessly wrong (as I suspect?)

Thanks scorpiojo - that's not going to happen! I'll just throw it away, I think. Not particularly entertaining, of this sort, I thought.

I agree, Chrise...it fits in at 7a if you change your mind.

No, actually it has worked! The split one for the 4,4 was the B. That's cheating!

Thanks to Kirky I am down to needing 3 four letter words that should be ridiculously easy to solve!
Ja?h. Little womans hot joke.
Z?o? And Z?a?
Time to get going? Oh!

Also I can't understand my answer to the first part of H, half.
Also I seem to remember that there was a Jo in little women but it doesn't fit in to the clue. Josh could be the solution but doesn't fit with my answer to B that is a good synonym for 'hector'

I've not got the paper, but could Little woman's hot joke be Josh? Jos/Jo's, Little woman's +H, hot.
