I've only done about half, but must have made an error, as I have no 6 letter space for my answer to q, that fits the letters, already placed.
Can anyone help with the location of Q please?

Many thanks Kirky. I had just spotted that I had put F where W should go. I haven't worked out W yet and now have a crossword covered in tippex!

Couldn't parse H (except last two words). X likewise. Guessed both, confirmed by crossers. L seems a bit dodgy - where in the wordplay can you find the extra 'o'?

L .....1st 4 letters = synonym for remaining
2nd word split 2 2... last bit 2 letter synonym for fine/all right, 1st bit "after H" ... "half of HO ur"
