If Ash can't "pin" this thread, then I suggest the regulars just bump it to the top every time they see a duplicate. Eventually it might sink in!

I doubt it, Seamus...but we can certainly try!

It should be achievable. We manage it with the Radio Times thread, on the whole..
I did think of mentioning it on the Sunday Times thread some time ago, but being a relative newbie, I didn't think it was my place, so I kept my opinion below the parapet.
I will certainly try to keep my eye on it, but I don't visit daily.

:)

Why are people getting their knickers in a twist about such a trivial matter - if you don't like duplicate threads why not just ignore them, or if you want to be bossy give the 'offender' a lecture?

Totally agree North! Very frustrating to have multiple threads for the same puzzle, especially of you're on your smartphone and you have to go through page after page to check you haven't missed anything

It's just a shame people don't seem to have bothered to adhered to this today

I agree a 'pinned' or 'sticky' of this that stays at the top of the page would be a good idea and closed to answers.

It would save squabbles within.

Having looked at search it seems that DM readers are the worst offenders!
Bumping to the top.

I remember one weekend when I counted 16 different threads on the same Times puzzle!
