Hello, Elle!
Jo played very well.
Paddy P has her second favourite to win the tournament.
Simona Halep is favourite.
There were some excellent matches today.
We have rain forecast for the next few days.
But, hopefully it won't be anything too heavy!

Good morning, Rusty!
A bit of an iffy day here.
The morning began with bright sunshine and a blue sky.
But since I pegged out two loads of washing on the Hill's Hoist , the sky has clouded over rather ominously!
This morning, I am hoping to finish the back up hard copies of all my "Contacts" within my email site
I am up to "K".......so quite a way to go yet!
How about you?
Any thing nice planned for the day?

Good afternoon, Elle!
Rainy here!
I've had a busy (unplanned!) morning!
Car would not start and it is now at the garage for investigation.
And I got interrogated at ASDA as to why I was so late going in today.
"And just what time do you call this, etc, etc".
I told them that next time I'm late I'll bring a note from my Mum!
So, I take it there is no word from Outlook?

Hi, Rusty!
I am just returned home!
Oh dear! I am sorry to hear about the problems with your car, and hope that the garage can soon sort it out for you.
Maybe we should just give up on modern appliances.....such as cars an computers.....and just walk everywhere - or ride a donkey - and send smoke signals?
Ah yes, there has been a reply from Outlook (again by email)......but don't get excited.......!
They suggest that I refresh my Browser, or failing that, try another browser!
Yeah, right......been there..... done that...... bought the T-shirt....all of ten days ago!
It was the every first thing that I thought of doing!
They do not yet seem to have grasped that I have not MISLAID the boxes and folders, but they have somehow REMOVED them!
If this advice fails...which of course it did.....they want a screen shot?
Of what I wonder ...the boxes that aren't there?
Grrh!

Hello, Elle!
Oh, my motor will be fine, I'm sure!
They are keeping it overnight for testing first thing in the morning.
I have missed the tennis today, but I was so impressed with Jo yesterday, I have had a wee bet on her to win the tournament.
Hope I have not jinxed her!
I suspect that Outlook are following a formula in regard to your problem.
Hope they have success!
Have you sent a screen shot?
At least they are still in contact with you, although in no great hurry!

Hi, Rusty!
Did they come and collect the car from you this morning?
And will they bring it back when "mended"?
Our mechanic friend always does that......we never have to take it to him.
No, I haven't sent a screen shot!
I do not know how to do this?
But I had already described to them the appearance of the email page minus its boxes, so I am not clear what they hope to gain, in addition to what they have already been told?
The boxes, which sat down the left hand side of the Inbox page, are simply not there any more.
That is all there is to see!
I have left replying to Outlook until tomorrow........I may be calmer by then.....!

Hello, Elle!
No, I drove my car to my garage, and I'll collect it when it is ready tomorrow.
Your mechanic has you spoiled!
I've not ever done a screen shot, too.
I presume it is very straightforward, though.
There may be something on the page that will give Outlook a clue to what's happened.
Have a look on YouTube, there will be instructions there.
And I'd do it sooner rather than later, if it was me.
The rain has stopped here!

Hi elle
To do a screen shot, just press the "Print screen" button - probably somewhere top right - on mine it is labelled "prt sc". Then you can paste it into any suitable program window.

Hi, Rusty!
Oh, I had thought when you said that your car wouldn't start that you meant you were consequently unable to drive it!
Hence my assuming that your mechanic came and collected it.
I have been watching my recording of "Fifteen to One".......there was a question about Bing Crosby!
I have not watched any tennis, not done any crosswords today.... my time has been taken up with "saving" what I can of my depleted records on my computer..... in case Outlook "wipe" anything else!
What I cannot understand, as there have been so many other complaints, is why Outlook are not "on to it" by now...surely some one else has been able to supply them with the necessary data and screen shots?
Maybe they just try to wear the customer down..... it is very nearly working!
I am almost about to cave in, and give up!

Hello, Chris!
Thank you for trying to help.
You are talking to a complete computer ignoramus here........
Er.....what do you mean by a suitable programme window?
Google tells me to open Paint?!
