Good evening, Elle!
Been a fine day here!
Hope the good weather continues!
The only London codes I know are EC for City, and SW19 for Wimbledon.
You mentioned Pimlico and Victoria.
I've not the faintest idea where they are in London.
I have complained to the crossword editor before about overusage of London in clues, but I got no satisfaction.
He suggested I buy an Underground map. Honestly!
I do find it mildly irritating.
Now, 15d, yes, that is a straightforward clue to answer.
The setter is "setting" clues, therefore "my job" means "setting".
You should be kicking yourself!
Miss L-B has just invited me out for a bacon roll tomorrow.
How's you and Outlook getting on?

Hi, Rusty!
Let us not speak of 15 down!
Shall we kindly just call it a senior moment...and put it behind us?
There were some excellent clues, though, that I did manage to do.
My special favourites were : 10a: retinal; 19a; endurance; 21a: traitorous ; 9d; cloche; and 17d: windswept.
I thought it a good puzzle!
There has been no further word from Outlook...I have been hoping that someone would phone me, and then I might be able to retrieve my records.
It is a lovely evening here...but becoming much chillier than the last few days.
I hope you will have a fine day for your outing tomorrow.

Hello, Elle!
I get senior moments often!
A fine puzzle today!
I presume there is/was an architect called "Kent" in 3d?
I liked 23a, "isms".
Maybe you should chase up Outlook again?
That's a few days now since they changed your site and lost your folders.
We have a reasonable forecast tomorrow.
I hoped to see Sloane Stephens v Jo Konta tomorrow, but I think I will miss a bit of it, when I go to Pine Cone.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, William Kent - an English architect and landscape gardener from Bridlington, Yorkshire!
I had to look him up, having got "kent" from the Scottish reference.
He died on my birthday, but in 1748.
Yes, I did email Outlook again yesterday in reply to another message from them, saying that they hadn't yet heard from me...... and this despite my having sent them specific details twice!
I requested them to telephone me.
Perhaps you could record Jo and Sloane's tennis match, if you do not want to miss it?

Hello, Elle!
A pity about Outlook.
Maybe they won't 'phone folk?
Just deal with problems by email, perhaps?
I should see the first bit of the match anyway.
I have a wee bet on Sloane to win the singles.
Madison Keys is playing tomorrow too.
I like Madison.

Good morning, Rusty!
A dull and rather chilly day here..... rain is forecast for later.
I hope it is better in your neck of the woods?
Re Outlook......I am close to giving up on them...
If they won't phone me, there is nothing I can do...this cannot be solved by email correspondence.
I cannot follow any emailed remedial instructions, if I am on a different email site.
I shall spend this morning "saving" what I can of what little I have left in my records......
Such as copying out all my email contacts , lest they too "disappear"!
I hope you and Miss L-B have a good time at the Pine Cone!

Good morning, Elle!
Not too bad a day here, so far.
Outlook appear to be a dead loss!
When you download a new email client all your contacts and emails should appear once you enter your own email address/es.
That's what I have experienced.
Mind you, your Outlook seems much different from anything I have used.
Sloane is not playing until one o'clock, according to Paddy P, so I should be home before then.
It's a pity Sloane or Jo has to lose, for I like both of them!

Hi, Rusty?
Are you home?
I hope you both enjoyed yourselves?
Yes, I would have thought that , under normal circumstances, one could import one's Contacts' address book, Favourites and such...to another email client, but I am taking no chances here!
I must have well over a hundred email and home addresses stored on my computer.
If Outlook keeps updating and "interfering", I am afraid of what I might lose.
It is a long job though to transfer everything to a paper record.
But once it's done , I can relax!
It is now raining here!

Good evening, Elle!
Yes, home, now.
We had a very good time!
Pine Cone was quiet today.
When it is quiet some of the girls go into the wood stores and pack kindling and wood chips into bags, for sale!
You can always have another email client running alongside your Outlook.
Have you transferred your stuff?
Just had another SEPA flood warning.
The last one came to nothing.
Was a good game with Jo Konta and Sloane.
Jo is doing very well this last year.
Would be good to see her in the final!

Good evening, Rusty!
I have only just had dinner.
We are very late eating tonight....
We decided that after our various labours of the day, we would treat ourselves to doner kebabs.
And very delicious they were, too!
Yes, Jo is playing well...I hope her good streak continues and it sees her through Wimbledon.
Not all that long to go now!
I am looking forward to it!
My favourite tennis tournament.
Oh dear, I hope this flood warning comes to nought , too.....
We have some rain here today, but only showers.
