Hi, Rusty!
Bill said that everyone was entitled to a list of dislikes that one didn't have to justify or explain!
He lives in Hampshire, in England.
I meant that if Molly Huddle wins , the odds are very much in your favour!
I know you only place a very small bet, but, should you win..... as Tesco is so fond of saying..... "Every Little Helps"!
I think you and I are experiencing weather reversals...
Your day is now bright...ours is clouding over and looking very grim!
It may well be raining by the time the troops wake up!
Maybe I should sound "Reveille"?

Hello Elle and Rusty

I think Roger Crabtree was runner-up when I was last there a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly, he has been second a few times

Hello Rosalind

Interesting about your ancestors. Glad you did not try cigarettes again

What a weekend- to add to the martial arts, my 5 year-old granddaughter just won two trophies for dancing (I am not sure which genre, but not ballroom or Latin. More hip hop I think). Having done no physical activity at all today (!) she is now off to a gym party.
I may go for a sedate walk soon

Hello, Jigjag!

Hello, Elle!
I just find it odd that someone dislikes Red Button!
It's a welcome addition to BBC service to me.
Yes, I think Molly will run well!
And the weather will be much better than it was in Boston.
It's a lovely day here now.
The Norn Iron folk are heading for the ship shortly.
Think it is an evening sailing.

Hi, Rusty!
We are just back from our walk....
It didn't rain after all, but stayed dull....and is now beginning to grow dark.
Good to get out though.
Yes, I , too, am glad to have a functioning Red Button (at long last)......
But Bill has some funny ideas...and passes a lot of remarks "tongue in cheek"!
When is the NY Marathon taking place?
I do not know the time difference between here and there?
Good luck to Molly...
I think Shalane Flanagan won it last year?
Did you get to see your friends again before they left?
I hope they have a safe journey home.

Hello, Ros!
Well done to your granddaughter on winning her trophies!
Our eldest grandson was taking his first violin exam......
