Good morning, Elle!
Fine day here!
The flight from Glasgow to Sanford took 8hrs 24mins.
They have a hire car and are at their hotel now, although I do not know where they are staying.
No plans for the girls and me, everything is just as normal.
As far as I can see, there is wall to wall TV coverage of the Wedding from yesterday to the dear Lord only knows when!
I will look in on it, (I like young Harry!) but my main focus will be on the Giro today.
The riders tackle Monte Zoncolan in the Alps today and it is the toughest climb in cycling.
I am going to visit my daughter-in-law and Miss O'Hara this morning, too, so an interesting day ahead. (Wonder if I can fit in my puzzle at any point!)

Good morning, Rusty!
It is a lovely day here...bright blue skies and sunshine......a tad chilly out earlier, but will be warming up nicely in the later morning, ready for the Royal Wedding!
I shall watch later when it is time for the Service.
Going to relax now, and take a look at the crosswords.
I had no time to do any puzzles yesterday!
What time are you visiting your daughter- in- law?
You will be able to hear all about their trip to London.

Hello, Elle!
Just home from my visit.
They are returning to London in July.
Their trip went well!
I have a couple of wee jobs to do today.
But I hope to see a bit of the wedding and the Giro.
The weather is great!

Hi, Rusty!
I am watching the Royal Wedding, as I expect you are.
It was a beautiful ceremony , wasn't it?
The Chapel was most impressive.
I loved the informality of using only "Harry" and "Meghan" to address the couple.......and that they held tightly to each other's hands throughout
Meghan looked lovely and I thought her dress very simple and elegant.
The ceremony seemed somewhat simple and informal (under the Royal circumstances) and I thought the public - including us , the viewers at home - were included as part of the day.
The young bridesmaids and page boys were very well- behaved!
And Bishop Michael gave a heartfelt fiery address/ sermon!
A goodly occasion!
I shall go watch the coach procession......all nearly over........

Hello, Elle!
The chapel is a work of art.
They were wonderful craftsmen who built it.
The wedding seemed to go off very well.
I have the Giro on TV now.
The race leader is from your part of the world.
Simon Yates is from Bury.
Still a long way to go and things can happen on the road!

Hi, Rusty!
We are just back from a very pleasant walk in the Nature Reserve.
It is a glorious afternoon.
Much warmer than was forecast.
Yes, I enjoyed the Wedding Ceremony........
I only switched on in time to watch that, so didn't see the arrival of the guests .
I was amused by the reply of Welsh soprano Elin Manahan Thomas, when she was asked whom she had been most impressed to meet today .......
"George Clooney", she replied!
The interviewer seemed a tad taken aback......that was obviously not what he was expecting!
Yes, Bury is only six miles from Bolton!
How is the cycling going?

Hello, Elle!
Great weather here, too!
I thought everyone looked fine at the wedding, except for Victoria Beckham.
She appears to be incapable of smiling.
Her husband, on the other hand, seems very friendly and approachable.
Cycling went well.
The "lad from Bury", Simon Yates, was second today and still leads the race.
Another week to go though.
Hope he can do it!

Hi, Rusty!
I have been multi-tasking.... watching last weekend's Shanghai Diamond League........and drying my hair!
I do wish though that the BBC would give a little longer time to their Diamond League recordings.
It is so very rushed....sometimes there is not even a list of the competitors' names shown at the start of the race ...nor details of the winners at the end.
The commentator will tell you who is running .....and, in due course, who won...but there is no chance to see how well or otherwise any other competitors did, as there are no details posted up.
It is a poor do, I think.
Well done "the lad from Bury"....
I have a third cousin lives in Heywood, which is quite near Bury.
We have not yet met, as she only got in touch with me a few years ago, through "Friends Reunited".
We are in email and postal contact though.
BGT soon!

Good evening, Elle!
I would doubt that it is a BBC poroduction.
Probably bought in from someone else.
I have heard of Heywood!
Hope BGT is good tonight.
I am recording it!
Heavy rain and lightning in Orlando!

Hi, Rusty!
I am watching BGT, but on the ITV1+1 channel, as I wanted to finish my book first...so we are only fifty minutes into the show.....
I shall withhold comment until you have watched it for yourself.......but I am suffering somewhat!
Maybe it will improve?
I'm sorry about your son's bad weather...... thunder and lightning is not good holiday weather!
How long are they there for?
