Hello, Jazzgirl!
Very sorry about your tears!
It was good to see so many folk who tried to help him.
I notice Buenchico has a "Lidl wine" thread going in honour of Mikey.
A nice touch.

My friends tell us I am far too emitional and I know I am ,
Yesterday, I went and scarified the lawn then mowed it, as I thought it would help, which it did. I will have to mow the other lawn I think :(
It is so good that kind-hearted people tried to help Mikey.

Jazzgirl, there is not a thing wrong in being emotional.
You wear your heart on your sleeve and that's fine.
I think I am a bit like that, myself.
Yes, some lovely folk tried to help him.
They will be thinking of him, too.

Hello, Malone!
Yes, I agree about the folk all trying to help him.
The family should take comfort from that.
There is a lot more good folk in the world, than the other kind!

It does help to know others tried, as I know from experience. Yesterday was the anniversary of my husband's death in a similar fashion, except the was on his bike. The car behind stopped and the driver, who had first aid training, gave him CPR until the ambulance came and they (and the doctors in the hospital) worked on him for some time. I'm thankful to know he wasn't alone, even though unconscious and that everything that could have been done, was.
Most years we plant primroses at the place. The car driver would not let the police tell us who he was.
I was also told he would almost certainly have been dead by the time he hit the road.

Hello, Rosalind.
A nice touch with the primroses!
A pity about the car driver though?
I am sure you would have loved to speak to him.
