Hi, Rusty!
I perhaps cheated with "leg =on"?
I has some letters, and knee that the answer had to be "tarragon", so parsing from there was easy!
I have just done the QC... a very nice one today...no problems and I was happy with it.
It seems to be becoming a tad chillier?
I have been out in the garden with the dog and can feel a decided nip in the air.
Daughter has just phoned on her way home from the office.....
She gets her allergy test results tomorrow......

Hello, Elle!
"I have been out in the garden with the dog and can feel a decided nip in the air"
Did you mean to type "air", or should it be another word?
Wonder what the allergy tests will show?
Well done on the QC!

Hi, Rusty!
Oh, very funny!
My dog may sue you for defamation of character!
Now.......allergy tests......
Both younger daughter and I are prone to allergy reactions.... often when we eat certain things......
But she also has a major problem with hay fever and is finding that constantly taking anti-histamines is causing difficulties.
Hence the referral to hospital for all these tests.
Hopefully the results will show a clear way ahead.
We shall know more tomorrow.
I must organise dinner...Shepherd's pie and mushy peas!

Hello, Elle!
Gotcha!
You led with your chin, there, Elle, as they say in the boxing world!
Yes, hope there is a solution to the allergies!
I have wondered about all these medicines, pills, etc.
How on earth do they come up with them?
It is way over my head, but I think it is impressive.
All the different tablets for different ailments.
Must check it out on YouTube!
I made carrot and lentil soup for my tea, with a lump of cheese!
Was quite nice!
Your shepherd's pie and peas sounds the biz!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, the pie was very tasty!
And I love mushy peas...I think it is a leftover from my Northern days!
No one down here seems to eat them or like them!
Carrot and lentil soup sounds good, too!
What cheese do you eat?
Cheddar is my favourite!
Speaking of cheese, puts me in mind of Mr Jangle.....
We haven't see him - or his clone - for months now.
I wonder if he will "visit" again when winter draws in.......
My theory is that he just pops in to keep warm!

Hello, Elle!
I would have thought everyone would like mushy peas.
Great with fish and chips!
I get different cheeses but mostly nutty Red Leicester.
Yes, hopefully Mr Jingles will revisit you.
Be kind to him and his family.
Miss La Bamba had a hot dog at the Boozy Cow.
She had a nice time!

Hi, Rusty!
Lordy, Mr. Jingles isn't going to come visit if I cannot even remember his name, is he?
Perhaps I was thinking of Mr. Bojangles........?
It is good that Miss L-B enjoyed her birthday tea!
I wonder did she have a "real" sausage for her hot dog?
I don't think we have "Boozy Cows" down here?
We have "Giraffes" though!
I shall make a coffee....and catch up with watching "Casualty"............

Hello, Elle!
Fingers crossed Mr Jingles calls in to see you!
Now what is a "real" sausage when it's at home?
I would not be at all sure what to expect on a hot dog!
I'd be fine with a burger, though.
I have had very little detail about their evening!
There are Boozy Cows in Aberdeen, Stirling, Dundee, and Edinburgh, so not so much a chain, more of a chainlet!
I have not heard of "Giraffes", though.
I go into Greggs bakers shops occasionally.
Do you have one of those near you?
They do good filled rolls, I think.
"Tuna mayo" is my usual choice!

Good morning, Rusty!
Fell dreich here!
A raincoat and wellies day!
I don't mind walking in the rain though, providing I am appropriately clad!
I am sure that I have told you about the "Giraffe World Kitchen"s?
They are very child-friendly restaurants that serve dishes from all over the world.
My son- in -law first took my daughter and the children to one at the O2, for Mothers' Day........
And we later discovered one in Bromley and have taken the children there.........
Is this ringing any bells?
Yes, we have Greggs on our High Street.
Right, coffee and apple needed before I tackle the crossword!
What is happening at your end?

Good morning, Elle!
Lovely morning here, but not warm!
Yes, you told me about Giraffe's restaurant.
You do a lot of eating out so it is hard to remember wherever you go!
Not a lot happening here.
Was at ASDA and had my photo taken!
One of the girls is going home to Bulgaria for a holiday and she wanted photos of the folk she has met in Dundee to show Mum and Dad.
She is a very nice girl.
I will do the puzzle later.
