They had a nickname for him.
The Tashkent Tornado or something mad like that!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I agree with you when you say that, in the rough and tumble of the cycling sport, there has to be give and take , but not deliberate actions to harm anyone!
That makes good sense.
I shall say no more!
But I shall stick to tennis!
It is very hot and humid here.......I think we are in for an uncomfortably sticky night.......
Seemingly, the temperature throughout the night will remain at 19C......
And will reach a high of 28C tomorrow!
Not my cup of tea!

Hello, Elle!
There will be nice scenery to look at on the Tour tomorrow.
It goes into the Vosges Mountains.
You would like it!
The bad news is, Mark Cavendish is out of the Tour.
His shoulder is broken.
A great pity as he was just coming back after a bad spell with glandular fever.
Hopefully, there will be no more "incidents", but, things can and do happen on the roads of the Tour de France!
And we are a long way yet from Paris!
Wonder if Jo Konta is playing tomorrow?

Good morning, Rusty!
A lovely day here - bright blue sky and sunshine and very warm already,
The dog is out with my friend.
What a pity about Mark Cavendish being out of the race.....presumably as a direct result of the "elbowing".......?
I hope today goes more peacefully!
You asked about Jo......
Yes, she is first on Centre Court today at 1 pm, playing Donna Vekic.
Followed next by Andy Murray v Dustin Brown - that match has good potential.
Then after that, Rafa playing Donald Young.
Heather Watson takes on the 18th seed ( I forget her name?) on Court No 2 at 11.30.
A good day's viewing!
(There are obvious advantages to having a painful big toe!)
What do you have outlined for your day?

Good morning, Elle!
I will dip in and out of tennis.
Tour has priority though.
Dustin Brown's name is familiar.
Bora are appealing for Sagan's reinstatement.
Anyway first I have the Supreme Court's "hand-down" to watch at 9.45.
Hope I can understand it!
My weather is dry but cloudy!

Hi, Rusty!
The dog is home again - she is delighted to see me!
How is your live court case transmission going?
I hope it isn't too full of technical legal jargon?
Yes, you will know Dustin Brown; very tall guy - possibly 6" 6"? - with dreadlocks.
I think he is German/ Jamaican.
Rather aggressive playing style.
Very hot now...I've got all the fans on!

Good morning Elle and Rusty!

A beautiful day here too, very warm already and due to reach
32/34C ! about 20C difference with two days ago!!! I do not like
it when temps play yo-yo like this - it's not good for the system!

Rusty, I have only just seen your question about La Planche-des-Belles Filles; a somewhat strange name to translate;

In gardening/agricultural terms, a 'planche' is, I think, a long narrow cultivated strip of land, and 'Belles Filles' means 'Beautiful girls', or words to that effect. So perhaps I would venture to suggest
'The Beautiful Girls' grounds' - a very rough translation!

Has P. Sagan himself said anything about yesterday? has he been
interviewed? On reflection, I do agree that it is a rather harsh
decision.
