Hello, Elle!
Not heard from Miss O'Hara!
I texted to her but no reply yet.
Her Mum will keep her feet on the ground, I do know that!
I saw the thunder and heavy rain at Epsom.
I usually have a bet on the Derby.
It looks a very open race this year.
Am tempted to back Anastasia O'Brien's horse, The Anvil.
It has very good odds.
Ana is riding for her Dad, Aidan, but I am wondering if it will be the pacemaker for her Dad's other runners?
I'll leave it until tomorrow.
Yes, BGT next.
Hope it is a good semi!
Hope Amanda has better dress sense than she did last night, too!
Diamond League from Rome on Wednesday evening!

Hi, Rusty!
The sun is creeping out again!
I fear there doesn't seem to be much of a drop in temperature after the storm...not as yet anyway.
Yes, Epsom is not all that far from us - maybe about fifteen miles?
My Geography is not good!
I didn't realise - you can tell that I know nothing about horse-racing - that horses use pacemakers as well as do athletes?
Can the horse used as pacemaker go on to win, if so wished?
Yes, Amanda's dress - or lack of it - does seem to have hit the headlines!
She is wearing increasingly less as the week progresses........!
I am fascinated by the varying lengths of her hair - I think she must use extensions?
We have had dinner in readiness for watching BGT.....
There is just time to make a coffee.......

Hello, Elle!
Well, I think that was the best semi of the week!
I did not like the clowns but I liked everyone else!
Decisions!
I would definitely vote for Daliso Chaponda, he is a very funny man!
Second, is more difficult, but, Jamie the Newcastle singer just gets it for me, ahead of Perfect Pitch Creation, the young choir from Derbyshire.
What do you think?
I really enjoyed it and Amanda's frock was not quite so bad tonight!

Hey, Rusty!
Uhmm.......well, I think that was a grave miscarriage of justice!
I think Daliso and Jamie were by far the best acts tonight! and both well deserved to go through to the Finals.
I couldn't pick four favourites tonight.....which is what I have been doing before whittling it down to two........just Daliso and Jamie......so for me it wasn't the best semi-final , though.
Now.....I can understand the public rooting for the Missing People's choir...but although their message is vitally important, and I greatly admire them for what they are doing - they are not all that good...and this IS a talent competition.
Jamie should be up there tonight...not the MP choir!
Yes, Amanda's dress passed muster, tonight!
I'd expected to be told about the Wild card?

Hello, Elle,
Strictly speaking, horses must run to their merits, pacemaking is not allowed, but Aidan O'Brien often runs several horses in a race and one is usually sent to the front to carve out the pace.
Occasionally a pacemaker does not come back and wins.
I read that Ofcom may investigate Amanda and her dress!
Goodness me!
So, that's Daliso and the Missing Folk into the final.
No complaints there!
The Wild Card has not been announced yet.

Hello, Elle!
Posts crossed!
Yep! Daliso and Jamie were the best, no question.
And I do not usually take to singers!
I had a hunch the Missing Folk would go through.
Now will Sarah get the Wild Card?
I'd like Jamie to get it.
One thing I am looking forward to in the final is, Diversity is appearing.
I do not know if you have ever seen them?
They won a few years ago.
Far and away the best dance troupe that has ever appeared.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, our posts crossed!
The more I think about the result...the crosser I am becoming!
It was a travesty of justice!
And I fear it may go further.......I should hate to see the MP choir win?
Have them up on stage at the Final to promote their charity....yes, I am all for that - donate money to them...... yes, I would support that.....
But they are not accomplished enough to be there on merit.
Ok, rant over with..... I'll get down off my soap box!
I have a feeling that Sarah may get the Wild card - I was hoping for that until tonight....
But I like Jamie very much too.
No, I do not know "Diversity"?
The dance troupe must have been before my time of watching?

Hello, Elle!
You rant away, that's allowed!
I think the Missing Folk have deprived Jamie of a final spot, but....
it was the public who voted for them.
So, I hope Jamie gets a wild card.
Great singer and a very personable young man.
Go over to YouTube and type Diversity Britain's Got Talent and the top one is their first audition.
Susan Boyle was getting hyped to win that year but Diversity won.
They are super.
Their choreographer, Ashley Banjo, I think has a show on TV now.
Have a look at them?

Good morning, Rusty!
We have a bright sunny day...and fortunately lower temperatures (the maximum will only be 20C) and a much fresher atmosphere this morning!
A good day for a walk!
I have just had look at "Diversity" - unusual and entertaining...I shall look forward to seeing the group perform this evening.
I have some chores to do this morning!
Washing to hang on the Hill's Hoist!
How about you?
Any plans for the day?

Good morning, Elle!
Great day here!
I am looking forward to seeing Diversity again, too!
Not heard who the wild card is yet.
I have had a bit of a trek earlier and am home for the day now.
Just looking forward to the Derby.
Think I will desert Ana O'Brien and do her brother's horse, Venice Beach.
Just a small wager, though, the race looks wide open!
