Hi, Rusty!
Wet and miserable here now....... and much cooler than yesterday.
I think Winter is lingering.......it obviously doesn't want to leave us!
We went first to the Crematorium - had the place to ourselves...obviously no- one wanted to face the cold and the wet.
Then we went to the park....various other dog walkers there.
Good to see a few familiar faces, and catch up on news.
It does sound as though "our" ospreys will be arriving soon, if there are others reaching local bases?
If Lassie and Laddie are expected back at the Loch of Lowes, where will their grown up "chicks" go?

Are you remaining down there for a few days?

Weather fine here.
You will feel better after visiting the Crematorium.
"Our ospreys" will soon be here.
Fingers crossed it is Lassie and Laddie who return to the nest.
There is a possibility, that an "intruder" may drive one off, though.
It happens in the wild.
The grown-up chicks will remain in Africa for several years until they are mature enough to breed, then if they have survived, will fly back here.
They will establish nests of their own, or take over an established nest.
Vroum Vroum Mag and the rest of the Mullins team have arrived safely at Cheltenham!
And Pete Sagan won today's stage in Tirreno-Adriatico!

The Jolly Sailor has gone all upmarketinside now. It used to be so noisy and they had an African Grey parrot on the bar that used to swear ! Then it became worse, before it improved as now with a modern menu more suited to everyone . I've not been in there for a few years.

Well, whenever I stayed in Poole at my aunt's, my cousin and I always went to the Jolly Sailor on a Sunday lunchtime; there was no food being served in pubs in those days and children were not allowed either ! (shows my age ,,,,) There used to be a brilliant jazz band on Sunday lunch time and the place was packed - noisy yes, but because of the music, not because of the rowdiness of people.

I would probably be very disappointed now. (I was in my late teens then, so it's a while ago! )

I have found photos for you Pigale to show how the J.S looks now. I am not sure if this link will work. I am off to arrange dinner now.
