Glad to help. Isn't it interesting what some see easily and others struggle with. Someone had big problems with 17 ac which I saw quickly but I have nothing for 26ac l?i???r? which no one else seems to have had trouble with except poor moi.

You probably were anagrinding(?) the correct words, but this is an alternative spelling of this bird.

Help! I'm stuck on last couple:2D Italian bigwig keeps army in terribly advanced state (6), and 8A Military commander left article at the end of the Sun, say (6), I'm not elated by the answers I've got so any help would be appreciated. Found this rather difficult (to understand sometimes as well!).
