Still can't crack 75 despite the clues. Don't get the wine connection at all.

Think of the answer in three separate sections: about, wine, and something that may improve it (the wine).

Have got answers to all 100 now, but am not sure about numbers 35 and 37, as the same word appears in both,(although one in plural)and I don't think the compilers ever repeat words? I'm reasonably happy that 37 is the name of a play, but not certain about 35. Can anyone shed any light on these please?

dougglos, I have the same word in both these clues and am happy that they are both right (at least I was until it was queried!!)Certainly 37 is right but am now doubting 35 a bit. Apart from that I have now finished.

I found this amazing quiz (I've learned so much!) whilst browsing your site and many thanks to all the clues given thus far. With your help I'm nearly there, but stuck on 4. (3 of which don't seem to have caused anyone else any problems)
49, 66 and 78 have me completely stumped. And for 72 someone reccommended doing what it says in the clue, but despite rubbing my chin raw, I'm no closer. Any further help gratefully received - it's driving me slowly insane!

49. So to speak, tells you it only sounds like the clue. What is it when a person, organisation or country spreads untruths about something.

66. This question actually follows on from previous one and one of the words makes an anagram to give the answer.

78. Answer is contained in question

Thanks for the pointers Lady Bee. I thought that must be the case re 78 but couldn't make anything sensible. Guess its back to the dictionary! NB My Dad, who taught me how to do crosswords, always said "you'll kick yourself", when I got stuck on a clue with the answer in it. So now my leg as well as my chin will be hurting.

Jill & Kenny - thanks very much for your comments - actually, I see that there answers to other clues in this quiz where words are repeated, so I shall just go along with my original thoughts. Best regards.
