Unless I am mistaken, 6D and 13A clash, don't they?

I thought so too to begin with, but my 13A was wrong.

6D is an acronym as well as word for a piece of equipment; 13A is in Chambers.

Yes, 6d is clearly LILO, but 13a parses as DOO+SPORTS*; if 6d is LILO, then there's only one word in Chambers that fits in 13a but it seems not to fit the definition "supporting items on the way in"

I'm with Buddy on this one.

Doorplate makes no sense either in the definition or the wordplay

I'm going to put this aside and wait to see if there's some sort of correction posted next week to make these two currently irreconcilable answers coexist.

Definitely another error in 6dn/13ac. Perhaps there should have been clues to lion or doorplate instead?
Also, 17dn has two possibilities - red bean and red dean. Neither are in Chambers but both are in Wikipedia.
