Yes, spotted these issues but rather straightfoward othwerwise. Has anyone identified the normal clue that suggests the theme?

I thought 13A was doo, Scots for dove, and an anagram ("new") of sports, giving doorposts, hence "supporting items on the way in". But according to Chambers, lilo is the only possible solution to 6D. Shurely shome mishtake?
