What a relief after yesterday's! I though Everyman's 16d today was extremely good - and the whole thing a great start to Sunday.

"though" = "thought".

I haven't been able to parse 5d or the last 3 letters of 17d yet. But overall I really enjoyed it today. Especially 16a, 22a, and 3d.

And if course 7d because contronyms are always wicked ;)

17d the last three letters come from the sneakily hidden "is".

Hi all - first time posting. Struggling with a few but (oddly) not those mentioned do far. Any advice on 14d? I have 14c & 16c so I’m thinking that might be the observer part? Also have 22c 24c.
