Another enjoyable Everman.

Haven't quite fully worked out the parsing for 3d but it's early days so no worries.

COD's (I know that's something of an oxymoron but....) - 8a, 23a and 21a.

A very smooth and enjoyable solve. A bit of a relief after Enigmatist yesterday!

I seldom carp about clues, but 22 botches the "Bacharach" part. Definite sour note.

To be fair the wordplay is "Bacharach heard"....

Apologies, my bad. The clue says "Bacharach heard[/]", so the misspelling is OK.

Ah, you're right - I missed that too - I think I must be in a sort of semi-trance 😏

I can use a gentle hint to 16 Across.

(I'm also missing 17 Down, but a hint to 16 Across might suffice.)

16a - 3 letter "vehicle"+ 2 letter "exercises" with the rest split 1,2,1 - definition is a Latin term.
