Thanks for help on Saturday. I was separated from my puzzle but back cracking on again now.

Have all the thematic stuff. Good fun, but seems familiar from previous IQ or Listener?
Just left with a few cell gaps at 9a and 14a, any help is welcome.

14a. Reading backwards, usual abbreviations for say and sexual activity. Answer is in Chambers. I didn't know it before.
9a. I have the only possible answer but no idea where it comes from.
I have most of the grid filled but have no idea what I'm meant to be highlighting. Help please!

Typically, I've just found 2 of the words to highlight so can now keep looking. Still stuck with 6d Switch source following withdrawal of popular banking system. I have IO.G?

Sybilla, find more of the vertical entry, there are examples in the completed grid...

Glad you found some, Sybila. For 6 D, you need one letter to give an anagram of a 'popular banking system', used by many people. That comes from a common source, 'start' which loses the usual 'popular'.

Gotcha! Many thanks all and particularly Hedge-sparrow. One query left for Gitto. I seem to have 8 thematic entries, clue numbers adding to 131. Any ideas?

Sybila, I have highlighted four outcomes/entries and those add up to the required 32 cells. I'm confused about both the 8 thematic entries and the 'clue numbers adding to..' bit!

I think it just refers to the sum of the clue numbers of the answers that are not entered normally, malone. I believe they number eight
