FOI 1a, LOI 15d.
COD tie between 5a and 15a, followed by 11 and 18, which latter took me a long time to parse.

Yep, took me ages to parse LOI 18d too ... although for once managed to get there without recourse to the forum.
Consistently good clues this week, I thought - even the Cockerny raised a smile rather than the usual grimace. COD the terrific Spoonerism, although none UK solvers may need an explanation of the Hancock!

My last one in was 10d which I'd never heard of before and which Chambers gives as N American slang meaning "a fit of bad temper of sulking".

Brendan, yes. That's a very common American term (or at least it has been in this oldster's experience). Wordplay most convenient for Statesiders, as the usage is generally "...in a ****".

After several weeks of complaining the Everyman was too hard - I thought this was too easy and I completed it in a single sitting ( It normally takes all week.). My LOI was 24ac which I now realise I pronounce differently to everybody else (dropping the aitch and including the third syllable) - though it could hardly be anything else with the cross letters.

I thought 17 was clever. Overall maybe slightly easier than average. And Phil, yes I had no idea about Hancock.

17a - When I saw this, my first thought was Tony "a pint" Hancock:-)

Darla - most of us in the UK wish we'd never heard of him too!
