Castafiore, the extra letters give a two word description of the “omitted features”.

Belated thanks to Kite for an enjoyable challenge, which I made unnecessarily hard for myself by repeatedly mistaking wordplay for definition and vice versa.

Thanks, Jack, that's what I thought, but I still can't work it out. I've been over and over my list of additional letters and I'm sure it's correct, even counting in the possible variants in 12a and 23a. I can extract a six-letter adjective that clearly applies to the 'related features', but that uses up all the vowels and leaves me with a bunch of consonants that I can't rearrange into anything. So I'm assuming that one of the words isn't the obvious one. Is that right?

No, the two words are obvious. Sounds like you may have some extras a bit off. In clue order they are O U L R B T L D S E E E T.

OK thanks - the anagram is very obvious. I'll go back and check my additional letters.

Thanks for the various hints.
I rarely make serious attempts at Genius puzzles for fear of heavy time consumption. Usually get a handful of clues and give up.
Made a serious attempt at this one because the "feature" was clear. Managed to complete it (second time ever) with a small amount of help from the thread. Granted the puzzle is on the easy side. 🤣

A postal order for Xmas to anyone that can help me to parse 3D. It's driving me crazy.

I hinted in an earlier post, but you need to separate the first word into two parts…

And 3d is an "additional letter" clue.

Spent a long time looking at 7a, trying every version of "foundation" except the right one. That's sorted now but stuck on Lundy. Any advice welcome.
