Trickier than of late. 12ac and 4 dn proving elusive. Is the parsing obvious or am I missing something?

12a is a reversal in two parts.
4d you need to remove two letters from a word for luxury.

Can I ask for help with 20D?
I've got a word that fits with crossing letters, but I can't see how it relates to the wordplay, or how it relates to the "definition" in 18D.

20D is a three-letter abbreviation for expert and a five-letter word for perturbation without its bounds.

I'm still struggling with 12A. I have a solution that fits the definition, but can't parse the wordplay.

Still can't see it, I'm afraid.
12A is a dice game (which fits with 11A).
Synonym for another (as in Prince Harry) minus its last letter followed by single letter for approx, all reversed.

thanks jono - 12 sorted. Am I right in saying there's a point to your nudge for 4d (if you see what I mean) and that the same two letters occurring together are removed?

well, that took a great deal longer than usual ... but, as others have said, it's very clever. jono (as you are getting the response notifications and are obviouly well on top of it) I might refer a few pre-parsings for your imprimatur ...?
