Definitely the quickest finish for a while. Didn’t see the theme till nearly finished, but it made me smile at the memories 😊

Totally oblivious to a theme though, but then I'm American, so I assume it was a very British thing.

Darla, I read it was banned by certain school districts in the US, including NY.

Hi everyone

Started after 3.30pm and broke to make a cake and get in the washing. Yes, it is easy and I'm enjoying it. Loved the book, but need to refresh myself on the characters.

I've done more than half and must return to sit in the sun. No rain here despite earlier weather warnings. Tomorrow wet forecast though for last day of Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival. I'm seriously tired!

Cake done, must go and check oven - I'll be back.

I was oblivious of the theme. Saw a couple of possibilities connected with music and flora, but I never read the relevant book. 🤣

I believe the other book mentioned, JLS, has been the subject of a thematic cryptic, but I never read that one either.
