Finished the grid, don't think I can be bothered with the endgame, still haven't really recovered from Harribobs' cycling puzzle in that regard. Will be the first one in about 3 years I haven't finished though, so I may gird my loins and crack open a spreadsheet over the weekend.

His Palais Schaumburg from a few years ago was absolutely sensational though.

All done, but I think I’m missing something. There are various hints above that the endgame is easier than first appears. How?

The significance of the title eludes me. Is there some significance to the four altered letters?

The significance of the title is in the first six letters, and think of a meaning other than a season. Then that is what you need to do to accomplish the instruction. Easy perhaps, but it still might take a few minutes. Then you have to figure out the four letters to change. You will know which rows and columns require changes, so determine how to do that with only four changes. No other significance to the letters that I noticed.

It didn't actually. Once you have the sums there are not too many options.

Yeah, that’s what I mean though - calculating those sums by hand would have been tedious!
