Cockie - 15A and 7D are indeed critical to 'get'. The first sentence in the preamble may help. The crossing cells do contain multiple letters as you say. I don't think I can say much more without giving too much away.

Phew! Well worth the hours involved. I remember being very involved following things at the time.

Got there in the end!! After trawling the website of the organisation for ages looking for a "phrase" and getting nowhere I tried a different tack and wiki gave it me immediately! I don't relish fitting the thematic clashes into single cells though - I don't think my eyes are good enough.

I can nowhere find and confirm the final form of 32D. Anyone?

Dim, if you have solved the thematic entries, I truly believe that you can finish this as I found them to be extremely elusive and they were the last 2 clues that I solved.
